A Challenger Approaches (Japanese: 協力, Kyōryoku, Cooperation) is an Affinity Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be received from the BLADE Barracks, near the console. The mission features the first incidents of the alliance between the Humans and Wrothians. Completing this mission unlocks the Six Stars Arms Manufacturer and further Wrothian-related missions. In the Definitive Edition, it allows Ga Jiarg to be recruited as a party member.

Objectives

1. "Head to Oblivia's Wrothian Stronghold."
2. Achieve all objectives
   • "Defeat Ga Buidhe."
   • "Defeat Zo Borri."
   • "Defeat Zo Fwar."
3. Achieve any objective
   • "Obtain five med kits from the storage supply room in Sylvalum's Hilal Stronghold." (5)
   • "Obtain five med kits from Jeffrey in front of the restricted hangar in the administrative district." (5)
     • Jeffrey will charge 100,000 Credits for the five med kits.
4. "Talk to Ga Jiarg in Oblivia's Wrothian Stronghold."
