A Great Divide (Japanese: 雲壌懸隔の障害, Unjō Kenkaku no Shōgai) is an Affinity Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be accepted near the Ishmael Hills in the Residential District.

Objectives

1. "Head to Oblivia's South Coast."
2. "Defeat five oc-serv yabars at Oblivia's South Coast."
3. "Talk to Solan at the maintenance center in the administrative district."
4. Achieve all objectives
   • "Find a massive ring fragment in Oblivia's Barbarich Desert."
   • "Find a butte ruin fragment at the Ruins on the Butte."
   • "Acquire a North Coast riddle rock from Oblivia's North Coast."
5. "Talk to Solan at the maintenance center in the administrative district."

Results

"You successfully completed the mission, and also learned that Frye is Phog's brother—they aren't on the best terms currently, but hopefully can work it out."
