A Memento of Daddy (Japanese: お父さんの形見を, Otōsan no Katami wo) is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Atael north of the Reservoir in Frontier Village. If Fiora is in the active party, she will comment.

Objectives

• "Collect something precious that has been buried near the Fountain of Hope in Alcamoth."
  • The party will need to use the transporter at the Centre Gate in Eryth Sea. The item is a Family Picture that can be found southeast from the Fountain of Hope.
• "Defeat Telethia Vol'aren near the Fountain of Hope in Alcamoth."
• "Return to Atael."

"It was a very special family photo. Atael cried with delight when he saw it."

• If no Affinity link was obtained between Atael and Cian, upon accepting the quest the Affinity Chart will change:
