Agnus (Japanese: アグヌス, Agunusu) is a nation of Aionios in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Future Redeemed.

Overview[]

Agnus is a nation locked in an endless war with Keves. Its people are derived from the people of Alrest. While all of them are considered human, many show distinctly non-human features such as the feline ears of the Gormotti, or the blue skin and pointed ears of the Indoline. Most Agnians appear to possess Core Crystals, akin to Blades, though they are typically obscured by uniforms. Agnian soldiers are naturally stronger than their Kevesi counterparts, who wear power frames to match their strength. It is ruled by the Queen of Agnus and it specializes in using Ether in its technology and military.

Like Keves, its military employs mobile weapons called Ferronises, which are home to groups of soldiers called Colonies. Manned and unmanned crafts called Levnises provide ground support for Agnian troops. Agnus shares several customs with Keves; Off-seers who are deployed in pairs and mourn the dead, Nopon like Manana assist special forces squads, and Consuls arbitrate the nation's many Colonies. Nia serves as the Agnian Queen, although prior to the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 she was replaced by a Masked Queen robotic double to instead serve as a figurehead under Moebius.

Trivia[]
