Arms and the Man (Japanese: イエルヴの探し物, Ieruvu no Sagashimono, What Yelv Seeks) is an Affinity Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be received near the BLADE Concourse in the Administrative District and the primary destination is Oblivia. The Mimeosome Left Arm is received upon completion of this mission.
Route A of this mission leads to a conversation with Eleonora which changes the affinity link between her and Yelv.
Objectives[]
- "Eavesdrop in the commercial district and look for some interesting work."
NOTE: There are two pieces of intel; the first one found determines which route the mission will take. - Route A: Male NLA Resident seated in Barista Court just north of Melville Street.
- "Head to the Sunshine Café in the commercial district."
- "Defeat 10 tough blattas in Primordia."
- "Report to Eleonora on the BLADE Concourse in the administrative district."
- Route B: Male Mechanic at the west end of North Founders Street.
- "Head to the Sunshine Café in the commercial district."
- "Look for the washed-up wreckage on Oblivia's Great Washington Isle."
- "Defeat three unyielding forfexes on Oblivia's Great Washington Isle."
- "Investigate the wreckage on Oblivia's Great Washington Isle."

- In the Japanese release of the game, this mission is part of a DLC pack and will not be available if the DLC pack is not installed.
- If Route A was taken, then the Affinity Chart will change when reporting to Eleonora:
