Arts Seal is a debuff in Xenoblade Chronicles. It disables the use of all arts except for Talent Arts. Auto-attacks are still useable through this debuff, as are Double Attacks and Counterattacks. This debuff is a complement to Paralysis, which cripples auto-attacking capabilities. In Definitive Edition, this debuff can be noticed via glowing purple chain-like rings over the character or enemy that is under it.
