Ashe is an NPC in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. He is an Ardainian soldier, and can be found in the Torigoth Relay Base in the Gormott Province, where he trains recruits. He gives the quest Whereabouts Unknown.
If Floren is in the party and has Lv 3 Beguiling Charms, he will give an unrefined Ether Def Up II.
Story[]
Ashe is an Ardainian drill sergeant who trains soldiers alongside Mattragh. When the party accepts Wherrabouts Unknown he explains that a group of soldiers have gone missing somewhere in Gormott. The finds the group dead, having been mauled by a pack of Volffs, who themselves were attacked and killed by the Rampaging Sauros who can be found at Sauros's Bed. If the party chooses to retreat instead of fight, Ashe directs them to a botanist in Alba Cavanich by the name of Tishk who tells them the location of the Benoit Nut, which has the ability to weaken the Sauros making it easier to defeat.
