Avalanche Abaasy (Japanese: 雪檻のアバーシ, Sekkan no Abāshi) is one of the five Superbosses in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is a Unique Monster and a member of the Dragon family; it can be found at Three Sage Summit on Valak Mountain after the events of the Mechonis Core (Chapter 17). It spawns only at night, during a blizzard. Like all dragons in the game, it will appear by flying down to the ground when the party is near or at where it spawns. It can drop the Demonic Everflame needed for Replica Monado 4. At level 120, it is the highest level enemy in the game.

Etymology[]
An abaasy is a demon of ancient Turkish mythology, said to serve the lord of the dead. The abaasy demons are known for spreading destruction and for their malicious nature.

- Avalanche Abaasy is one of the highest levelled enemies in the Xenoblade Chronicles series (excluding Challenge Battle Mode enemies) tied with Chickenheart Dagmara from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Seraphic Ceratinia (before rematches) from Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and after Tyrannotitan Kurodil from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Seraphic Ceratinia (at its max level).
- Avalanche Abaasy is referenced in Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed with Fogdweller Abaasy, with both sharing a similar name, encountered in the same area, being of similar species, and sharing art names.
