Being a Good Grandfather (Japanese: 祖父の心孫知らず, Sofu no Kokoro Mago Shirazu) is a Timed Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Satata in the Refugee Camp on Bionis' Leg. As with all the quests in the Refugee Camp, it will expire after the residents migrate back to Colony 6. If Sharla is in the active party, she will comment.

Objectives

• "Collect 3 Sticky Web Fibre from Arachno on the Bionis' Leg."
  • Hint: Overtraded by Anna (550+ G) at Refugee Camp or trade with Emmy Leater (☆2) at Colony 9
• "Return to Satata."
• "Give the toy to Kiroki."
• "Return to Satata."

Results

"Now that the toy has been repaired, the two friends have made up."

• Upon completion of the quest, the Affinity Chart will change:

• A small game bug appears when talking to Satata after having received the Fixed Toy (third objective completed) and before talking to Kiroki (fourth objective completion), the first sentence goes beyond the speech bubble.

Sharla: "Sticky fibres make good glue... That's a brilliant idea, Satata! Leave it with me and I'll make sure you get the fibres you need. It's my job to look after everybody, after all."

Satata: "So friends will help me? Thank you, Sharla."
