Benign Crickets (Japanese: リュウセイスズムシ, Ryuuseisuzumushi) are collectables in Xenoblade Chronicles. They can be found in Makna Forest. According to their description, they fly like shooting stars and a moving swarm of them are known as 'Meteors'. Four are required for Honouring the Nopon Sage.

Makna Forest - the following locations have the highest spawn rate (19%) for Benign Cricket (night only):
- the shore adjacent to the Divine Sanctuary
- north of the location of the Nopon Sage
- the midpoint of the passage that leads to the Divine Sanctuary
- west of the Nopon Arch; look for the elevated hill
- west of the Waypoint Beacon; look for the elevated hill, which is only accessible by heading north and then making a left U-turn when the passage is visible
- in the vicinity of the earth elemental ether deposit at northwest of Bridge Two; cross Bridge Two to reach the area
- near a ledge; starting at the Twisted Tree Gate, head northwest until an incline ledge is visible. There will be Orlugas patrolling the area.
- the elevated area at the corner; northeast of the Village Entrance and north of Clear Waterfall. Cross the bridges to reach the area.
- the midpoint of the passage located at southwest of the Precipice Bridge
