Castle in the Sky (Japanese: 空のお城, Sora no Oshiro) is a Normal Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be accepted from Kuta at Dopang Caravan near the Cleansing Spring in Sylvalum.

Objectives

1. Achieve all objectives
   • "Talk to Wanana at Sylvalum's Cleansing Spring at nighttime."
   • "Talk to Nana at Sylvalum's Cleansing Spring at nighttime."
2. "Retrieve Kuta's cargo from a "huge thing" somewhere in Sylvalum."
3. If Bobora is spoken to at Xanadu Overlook before retrieving Kuta's cargo, the previous objective is removed and replaced with the following:
   • "You spoke to Bobora in Sylvalum."
   • "Retrieve Kuta's cargo from the jacul ire on Sylvalum's Lake Ciel."
4. "Talk to Kuta at Sylvalum's Cleansing Spring at nighttime."

Results

"You obtained eyewitness reports, tracked down the thief, and returned the cargo. Kuta was delighted."
If Bobora is spoken to "You encountered Bobora, whose account led you to the thief and the stolen cargo. Kuta was delighted."

Notes

• If Black Lifehold has not been started, another Nopon in the caravan will say that Bobora went to the western mountains and may have witnessed the theft. If the party speaks to Bobora at Xanadu Overlook, he will identify the "huge thing" as a Jacul Ire and mark its exact location on the map, making it much easier to complete the mission.
