Caterpile Silk (Japanese: キャピルの神糸, Kyapiru no Kamiito) is a rare material in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be dropped by Royal Caterpiles on Bionis' Leg or traded for in Colony 9. According to their description, they are extremely fine threads and nothing can pass through a cloth made from them.
One is required for Replica Monado 1, and three are required for the reconstruction of Colony 6. In Definitive Edition, they can be purchased in the Time Attack place from the Nopon Archsage for 5,200 Noponstones.
