Chapter 5 (Japanese: 第5章　マ・ノンの民, Daigoshō: Ma Non no Tami) is a Story Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It corresponds to Chapter 5 of the main plot. It can be received in the BLADE Barracks in New Los Angeles. This mission introduces the party to the Ma-non, who, at the end of this mission, tow their spacecraft into the city, creating a new district. Candid & Credible will be open for business.

Objectives

1. "Head to Oblivia Ingress in Oblivia."
2. "Talk to the mysterious xenoforms."
3. "Destroy the first turret."
4. "Destroy the second turret."
5. "Destroy the third turret."
6. "Return to where you encountered the Ma-non and make a report."
7. "Head to Oblivia's Ruins on the Butte and rescue the Ma-non."
8. Achieve all objectives
   • "Defeat the Platoon Qmoeva." (1)
   • "Defeat the Platoon Qmoeva." (1)
   • "Defeat the Chief Qmoeva." (1)
9. "Report to Commander Vandham at the entrance to New LA's BLADE Tower."

Results

"The xenoform spacecraft turned out to belong to the Ma-non. As a result of coming to their aid, you were able to forge a pact of friendship with them."
