Darkcyte is a Key Item in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It is received from Misimisi during Precious Yearnings by having her appraise a Strange Mineral from a prospecting point near the Wonder Spring Plaza Ruins in the Spirit Crucible Elpys.
Upon appraisal, Misimisi responds with, "This is stone called Darkcyte. Quite rare jewel, only found glowing softly in very dark place. Is quite popular for use as charm to ward off evil spirits."
