Enemies are the AI-controlled opponents faced by the party in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country.

Overview[]

Enemies can be found on all over Titans through the world of Alrest, alone or in groups, and can be fought by the party to gain experience or progress in the story. When enemies are defeated, the party gains EXP, and two other skill points.

Regular enemies are usually members of a species, reflected in the second part of their names (for example, Clap Bunnits are members of the Bunnit family).

Enemies, like playable characters, have levels and use arts in battle.

A complete list of enemies in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country can be found at List of Enemies in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Tiger! Tiger![]

There are ten different enemies encountered in Tiger! Tiger!, a mini-game in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Each enemy behaves differently, and certain enemies are only found in specific levels. The player can defeat all enemies except for "urchin-like" and "tentacle-like" ones with the anchor shot attack. Most enemies have a small chance of dropping a power-up after being defeated. Touching an enemy will deplete the air meter, which acts as the player's health bar. These enemies are found exclusively in the Tiger! Tiger! mini-game, and are not encountered elsewhere in Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

List of Enemies[]

  • Urchin-like enemies - They are unkillable, immobile enemies found in all levels. They completely deplete the air meter on touch.
  • Jellyfish-like enemies - They slowly move up and down and can only be defeated when hit from above. They are found in all levels.
  • Turtle-like enemies - They slowly move from left to right, and can only be defeated when hit from below. They are found in all levels.
  • Green shark-like enemies - They slowly move from left to right. They are found in all levels.
  • Red shark-like enemies - They act exactly like the green variants, except they chase after the player if they swim too close and they take two hits to be defeated. The penultimate shark found in level 4 as well as the last two red variants, found in level 5, take three hits to be defeated. They are found in all levels.
  • Ceiling crab-like enemies - They are motionless enemies that hide in overhangs. They swiftly fall down toward the player once they are directly below. They are found in level 2 through 5.
  • Tentacle-like enemies - They sway back and forth, and are attached to walls. They are found in level 3 through 5.
  • Piranha-like enemies - They are motionless enemies that wait out in the open. They charge toward the player once they are directly to the right or left of them. They are found in level 3 through 5.
  • Isopod-like enemies - They are quick enemies that run away from the player when they are close. They are found in level 4 and 5.
  • Ground eel-like enemies - They are motionless enemies that hide in the floor at the end of levels. They swim upwards toward the player once they are directly above them. They are found in level 4 and 5.

Trivia[]

  • A few of the enemies in Tiger! Tiger! resemble enemies that can be found in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. In particular, the Piranha resembles a Piranhax, the Isopod resembles a Lysaat, and the Ground Eel resembles a Serprond.
