Spoiler alert

The future doesn't belong to you!

For those who have not completed games in the Xenoblade Chronicles series, this page contains spoilers regarding the plot. Discretion is advised.

Engage the Enemy (敵との対峙, Confrontation with the Enemy) is an Event Track in Xenoblade Chronicles, composed and arranged by ACE+. It is track 9 of disc 1 from the Xenoblade Original Soundtrack, and track seventeen of disc one from the Xenoblade Definitive Edition Original Soundtrack and Xenoblade Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. It is also track 9 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Special Soundtrack. This music is a pre-battle theme that is heard in the following cutscenes:

In Future Connected, this song plays after the final battle with the Fog King, when the Telethia make explosions that distort and destabilize the rift, and Melia deals the final blow to the Fog King in order to protect the future.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, motifs of Engage the Enemy are used in Carrying the Weight of Life.

A trimmed and looped version of the track appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. A remix of Engage the Enemy also appears in the "Xenoblade Chronicles Medley" track.

Live Recording[]
