Eryth Ansels (Japanese: エルト・アンセル, Eruto Anseru) are enemies in Xenoblade Chronicles. They are members of the Ansel family, and can be found on Hovering Reefs 4, 5, 7, 9 of the Eryth Sea. They soar in the sky during daytime only.
Three Eryth Ansels must be defeated for Monster Quest 1 - Part 2 in Alcamoth. They are the only source of Dense Ansel Meat, three lots of which are needed for Reversed Tastes in Frontier Village. They can also drop the Jagged Tails needed for Colony 6 Reconstruction.
