Tantalese are a race in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. They live on the Kingdom of Tantal, on the Titan Genbu, but their ancestors came from the Kingdom of Torna. Due to the isolationist attitude of the Kingdom, many of the Tantalese have had little interaction with the other races of Alrest and have limited knowledge about the world outside of their Titan. The Tantalese, much like Ardainians and Leftherians, resemble humans, however they appear to have distinct cross-shaped markings on their face and the majority of them have orange or red colored hair.

- The Tantalese are voiced with Southern Englander accents. The Tantalese royalty, aside from Zeke, speak specifically in Received Pronunciation.
- Most Tantalese names are of Ancient Greek origins.
- Despite being the Crown Prince, Zeke displays no Tantalese features. This is never addressed in-game.
