The Leone Telethia (Japanese: レオーネ・テレシア, Reōne Tereshia) is a boss in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is a Gigas-type Telethia, and is fought in the Decayed Forest in Makna Forest at level 36.
Story[]
Before Shulk and the party arrive at Makna Forest, Melia and a group of soldiers try to defeat the Telethia. Unfortunately, it kills all the soldiers and knocks Melia unconscious, having drained her of Ether. Later it is fought by the group again, who defeat it with the Purge ability of the Monado and Melia's spells. The Telethia explodes because Melia forces it to absorb too much ether.
Appearance[]
It has a similar appearance to several other Telethia, with a form likened to that of Cerberus, a quadrupedal with three heads.

※2 Single use only. This aura generates 4% of the Telethia's total HP (5,196) every 2 seconds. It is permanent and can only be dispelled by using Mind Blast, Monado Purge, or arts that inflict daze to the enemy while it is toppled.
Abilities[]
Like the other Telethia, it can use its Soul Read Aura to predict all movements and make arts cast by the party fail. Its regeneration power is incredibly powerful, as it can regenerate tails, heads, wings, etc. It also absorbs great quantities of surrounding Ether, thus destroying the environment around it.
Soul Read can be stopped, along with other enemies auras, by using Melia's Mind Blast, using Monado Purge to inflict Aura Seal, or by inflicting Daze on the Telethia. In order to inflict Daze against the Telethia when Soul Read is active, the Telethia must be toppled and Riki is the only member that can force topple with Roly-Poly. See video below (first one) to see how this is done.
Another ability it has is the "talent absorb" that, when successful, totally drains the target's Talent Gauge. If Shulk gets hit, it can mean that he is unable to activate the Monado to dispel the Soul Read aura, leading to an extremely long fight as it fills up again.
Drops[]
Note: This enemy drops no chests, and the items are also impossible to steal through Yoink! because the enemy displays 100% resistance to item stealing.
