Going Out to Play (Japanese: 息子が外で遊べる様に, Musuko ga Soto de Asoberu Yōni) is a Timed Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Popipo, just northeast of the Main Entrance of Alcamoth. She can be found next to the fountain from around 06:00 to 18:00. If Reyn is in the active party, he will comment.

Objectives

• "Talk to Baroba."
• "Collect 5 Ether Roses from Satorl Marsh."
• "Return to Baroba."
• "Talk to Popipo."

Results

"You solved Baroba's problem and though not the perfect solution, he's happy to be outside now."

• Before starting this quest despite the white exclamation mark above him, if Nelo is registered, the Affinity Chart will change by talking to Popipo:
