The Golden Sunstone is a Key Item in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It must be obtained for the quest Salvage King. It is said to have once been located on the Cliffs of Morytha, from which it later fell.
It can be found in a small room inside the Fallen Skyscraper in the Land of Morytha. The room is located at the top of the broken elevator shaft inside the Fallen Skyscraper, where there is a climbable grate. At the top of the climbable grate, a second grate, located behind the first, can be reached by jumping to it, and the Golden Sunstone is located in the room at the top of the grate.
