Hero Quests are a type of quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Heroes . They are similar to Blade Quests in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 class for Ouroboros .
Ascension Quests are Hero Quests that, upon completion, will increase the maximum Class Rank for corresponding Hero's class from 10 to 20. Additionally, six Side Story Quests will similarly increase the maximum rank for the base class corresponding to the party member it features. In order to be started, Ascension Quests require at least one party member to be at rank 10 with the hero's class, for the relevant hero to be in the party, and for the hero's questline to be sufficiently progressed.
