Hiroyuki Sawano (Japanese: 澤野 弘之, Sawano Hiroyuki) is a composer for TV series (both live-action and animated) and movies. He first became famous for the soundtrack of the live-action adaption of Team Medical Dragon. The soundtrack of Xenoblade Chronicles X is the first soundtrack he has composed for a video game. He has been active since 2006.

Hiroyuki Sawano shared on February 5th 2022 a new piano cover of 46-:ri9 to the "SawanoHiroyuki Official FanClub 【-30k】" aka "n30k". It may also be considered as a new version of PianoX3. This track appears amongst the musical series "PIANO[-30k]" release on February 10th 2022, which Sawano uses to replay music from previous works. Hiroyuki Sawano revealed about the choice of this track that is one of his favorite tracks on the soundtrack.
