The Hode Refuge (Japanese: フーディの隠れ家, Fūdi no Kakurega) is a location in Xenoblade Chronicles. It is located west of the Ether Plant in Eryth Sea, and is most easily reached by teleporting there, jumping off and swimming the remaining distance.
The island has a beach around most of its east side, and a much smaller one to the west, from which an inner balcony can be accessed. It has a mountain structure in its centre, much like many of the islands, which is hollow and contains a small lake, a side cavern (accessible by swimming through the lake) and a High Entia Door.
As its name suggests it is populated mostly by Hodes and their Orlugas, as well as one chained Pelargos Ekidno on the balcony above the main area. Some Sol Gradies can be found swimming in the water around the island.
Funeral Gozra, the Hode leader, can be found in the side cavern alongside a group of assorted Hodes.
