Lightocyte is a Key Item in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It is received from Misimisi during Precious Yearnings by having him appraise a Strange Mineral from a prospecting point on Funnystone Highway in the Kingdom of Uraya.
Upon appraisal, Misimisi states that: "Lightocyte very rare mineral nowadays! Most treasure hunter never able to find! Is said to be more beautiful than any other jewel, due to pathway of light visible inside crystal! Friends take good care of this, mehopes!"
