MacNeth (Japanese: メクネス, Mekunesu) is an NPC in Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country. He is an Ardainian Soldier who acted as a spy for Coeia, and can initially be found on the Ardainian flagship moored at Lascham Cove on Gormott alongside Yrrith. Both accompany the party to the Aletta Region, where they remain stationed at Aletta: Militia Garrison.
During Duplicity, Yrrith sends the party out to find MacNeth, who has gone missing. He can be found in one of the abandoned houses in Hyber Village. After his defeat, he is forced into some traditional Tornan attire, a hooded variant similar to the garb of Tornan women, and made to help the party so his life is spared. However, his identity is formally dead, and his squad leader, Sergeant Yrrith, is informed he was murdered by a monster. MacNeth's Community is gained upon completion of this quest. After Duplicity, MacNeth can be found on the rooftops of Formide Shopping Ward in Auresco. He can provide information such as how Gio was the leader of The Bloody Lobsters.

Conspirator MacNeth (Japanese: 謀略のメクネス, Bōryaku no Mekunesu) is a quest-exclusive enemy. He is fought at level 40 in Hyber Village in the Kingdom of Torna during Duplicity. This enemy drops no items.
