Main Theme (メインテーマ) is an Event Track in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected, composed and arranged by Yoko Shimomura, with additional string arrangement by Tsutomu Narita. It is track one of disc one from the Xenoblade Original Soundtrack, Xenoblade Definitive Edition Original Soundtrack, and Xenoblade Original Soundtrack Trinity Box, and track 1 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Special Soundtrack. This music serves as the Title Screen (and menu) music for the game. Outside of that, it plays in only one cutscene, specifically when Face Nemesis is unmasked as Fiora at Prison Island, revealing to Shulk and his companions that she was alive all along.
In Future Connected, this song plays after the final battle against the Fog King, as the party continues to fight and the Telethia create explosions that distort and destabilize the rift.
A shortened version of this song plays on the 3DS HOME menu when using the "Xenoblade Chronicles: Mechonis" theme.

The Live Recording is an official live performance of five songs from Xenoblade Chronicles to celebrate the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. These songs were performed and orchestrated by ACE+ band accompanied by a string quartet, in particular the live recording of Main Theme.
