Mwamba (Japanese: ムンバ, Munba) is a character in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
Overview[]
Mwamba is a Kevesi soldier from Colony 9, who is on his tenth term. He is a part of the special forces unit alongside Eunie and Lanz who is assigned to protect the Off-seer Noah. He is a temporary Hero who is in the party from the tutorial up until the party defeats the Drifter Ropl. The Mysterious Giant kills him along with Hackt.
Later on, Mwamba is revived in Colony Omega close to his Homecoming Ceremony due to its special Flame Clock as part of Y's experiments. He is forced to fight the party alongside Hackt, Cammuravi and Miyabi. After being freed from the control of Colony Omega's Flame Clock, he takes up residence in the City and joins the Lost Numbers in their missions alongside Hackt, with whom he becomes good friends.

Etymology[]
Mwamba in Swahili means "rock". It is notably the surname of Trevor Mwamba, the former Bishop of Botswana.
Trivia[]
- Mwamba is the only temporary party member in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and the only party member to not be either Ouroboros or a Hero. Even after the Flame Clock at Colony Omega is destroyed, he will not rejoin the party.
