Neilnail Furvus (Japanese: ニールネール・ニゲル, Nīrunēru Nigeru) is a Mission Exclusive Secondary Boss in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It is a Skell of unknown origin. It appears with Neilnail Albus in Sylvalum at level 14-15 in the Squad Mission The Unknown Threat, and at level 50 in the Time Attack Mission Twin Dolls of Mystery. Neilnail Furvus is not registered in the Enemy Index.

Shortly after engaging battle, Neilnail Furvus grants itself a multitude of buffs, including Calm, Ranged and Melee Attack Up, and Barrier.

Definitive Edition[]

Neilnail Furvus is revealed to be a Skell of Qlurian origin, developed with Qlu-related ultratechnology. The personality of a former incarnation of High Custodian Neilnail is layered atop its base control system.

Neilnail Furvus is fought alongside Neilnail Albus at O'rrh Sim Keep in Cauldros at level 48 during The Custodian's Duty. It is also fought as the Unidentified Skell (Slate) during The Qlurian Archaeologist.

  • In Xenoblade X: The Secret File, it is revealed that the Neilnail Skells were of Qlurian origin, later being confirmed in Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition.
