"Righty-O!"

O (Japanese: オー) is a character in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Overview

O is the Consul of Colony Zeta, whom Sena recalls from a joint operation that took place before the events of the game. He works alongside P. Together, they confront Ouroboros at Engardo Pass.

Personality

O has a smug disposition and inflated sense of self, but falls in line with P's commands. He's a bit slow on the uptake, as observed when he remarks that he forgot using Cammuravi was an option, despite the fact that he was the one who gave Cammuravi his Ferronis. He can also be clumsy and excitable: when he and P perform their Empress Chariot art, there is a chance of him performing his part prematurely and interrupting P. An alternate Empress Chariot exchange reveals that O likes being praised. O can be mean-spirited when prompted by P, but also appears to have a whimsical sense of humor, such as when he exclaims "Righty-O!" He often supplements his speech with various vocalizations, a recurring one being his signature "Hah!"

Appearance

O is easily recognizable by his very large build, being both tall and morbidly obese. His helmet resembles the head of an owl, complete with feathered horns. His eyes are amber and his Iris is on his left side, suggesting that he has Agnian ancestry. Unmasked, he is bald and appears to have a number of cybernetic enhancements, including strange blue tubes or wires that connect from his skull to the back of his neck.

His Moebius form is identical to G's, having a large frame; purple and black skin; broad, pointed horns on the sides of his head; and flat teeth, with an additional outer layer of teeth on his mandible. When Interlinking with P, the two of them assume the form of a two-headed monstrosity possessing traits from each of their Moebius forms. O resides at the "back" of the body, being conjoined to P at the torso. When O is in control, the creature stands on all fours. In this form, O possesses longer, bull-like horns; sharp teeth; and muscular arms of almost comical proportions, whose hands have thumbs on either side to accommodate the body in either position.

Story

O first appears in the Amphitheater when D and J return from battling Ouroboros. When P asked about his "huge bet", he told her it was a draw. He left with the other Consuls after Z had N choose K to go after Ouroboros next.

After K failed and was killed, D cursed him for relying so much on his Iris. O laughed that he forget that he still ran away from Ouroboros when they first reemerged. O, along with the others, agreed to let J take on Ouroboros next.

J, however, also failed, making O mock him, but J was unfazed, and D "defended" him. X arrived telling P and O that N wanted to see them, making them realize that it was their turn to take on Ouroboros. N told them to brainwash Ethel and Cammuravi and make them use Ferronises to attack Ouroboros. When that failed, O criticized N on that decision before attacking them with P by Interlinking their Moebius forms. Mio angrily yells at them to stop messing with people's lives and using them as toys, the others agreed and defeated P and O. Suddenly, their defeated Moebius forms gather Black Fog and were about to produce an annihilation effect, but even with no time to get out of the way, Noah uses the Lucky Seven to the send the consuls under the cliff before they could be killed.

D told Ouroboros that he was impressed that they took down O and P. J called them idiots for going past the time limit while interlinking.
