Oil Foxes (Japanese: オイルキツネ, Oiru Kitsune) are collectables in Xenoblade Chronicles. They can be found in the Central Factory and Colony 6. According to their description, they are foxes with damp fur and their misty eyes make them look adorable.

Central Factory - the following locations have the highest spawn rate (16%) for Oil Fox:
- GF: Landing Strip 1 area
- GF: Landing Strip 2 area
- GF: the bridge
- 1F: The floor above Landing Strip 1
- 1F: The floor above Landing Strip 2
- 1F: near the earth elemental ether gear; only accessible by jumping off the lift
- 2F: Training Ground Roof
- 5F: 2 spawn points on the south bridge; 1 spawn point at the end of the east bridge
- 5F: north of the Ventilation Conduit; look for the spawn point up ahead
Colony 6 - Top of the watchtower (southwest of the entrance of Colony 6). Special LV4 and after completing the Mechonis Core. The spawn rate is 11%, from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.
