Phys Def Down (Japanese: 物理耐性減, Butsuri Taiseigen) is a Gem in Xenoblade Chronicles that is grants a chance that auto-attacks will lower an enemy's Physical Defence, thus increasing the amount of damage that the enemy receives from physical attacks. Since an enemy's physical defence is a percentage, the net result of this gem (and similar debuffs) is to increase the physical damage done to the enemy by a percentage. This gem additively stacks with Shulk's Slit Edge and Dunban's Worldly Slash physical arts.
