Play Dead (Japanese: マカセタも, Makaseta mo) is one of Riki's arts in Xenoblade Chronicles. It activates an aura that allows Riki to feign death by lying down, removing all aggro. After five seconds, Riki gets up and receives the same HP recovery as if he had been revived from incapacitation. In addition, the physical damage of Riki's next art will be increased by 50%.

- If used during a Chain Attack, the five-second feigned death is skipped and the HP recovery occurs immediately.
- Play Dead cannot be used when all other party members are incapacitated.
- If the other party members become incapacitated while Riki is feigning death, combat will stop. This can be useful to avoid fighting with enemies blocking the way.
