Rainbow Slugs (Japanese: ナナイロナマコ, Nanaironamako) are collectables in Xenoblade Chronicles. They can be found on the Fallen Arm. According to their description, they are slugs that stick crystals to their bodies which give them a rugged look. Two are required for the reconstruction of Colony 6. In Definitive Edition, they can be purchased from Time Attack from the Nopon Archsage for 23,700 Noponstones.

Fallen Arm - the following locations have the highest spawn rate (10%) for Rainbow Slugs (night only):
- Power Pipe Ruins, on the small pool of water
- southwest of Inlet Beach; by entering the pipe and then heading straight until there is a visible spawn point on the left side.
- Giant Mechon Debris; behind the ice elemental ether gear
- high platform at the base of Digit 5; by swimming on the right side of Digit 5 until there is a visible passage that leads to the base of Digit 5, then climbing on the platform to reach the spawn point.
- southwest of Digit 2 Plain; by climbing down to reach the lower platform. On the map, the spawn point is at the lower right corner of the platform. Zarkort and Theo can be found over there as well.
- northeast of Digit 2 Plain; by jumping off the nearest ledge and look for the tiny corner
- Distant Fingertip; the area is guarded by the Wicked Sallos
- Jifum Beach; the northeast area, near the earth elemental ether gear near the shoreline, and the wall cavity in the water in the east
