Starfall Basin (Japanese: 流星の谷, Ryūsei no Tani) is a landmark in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It is located in Primordia, at the southwesternmost part of the continent. During the prologue, Elma discovers Cross in a cryogenic stasis pod here before handing them a Proto Assault Rifle and taking them back to New Los Angeles. If it is visited later in the game, there is a mix of low and higher levelled enemies. FN Site 102 is also located here.
The site is later revisited during the Affinity Mission The Repair Job, in order to salvage three L-002 Power Cables from White Whale debris.
