"Now! Starlight Kick! Ouch...!"
— Melia

Starlight Kick (Japanese: スターライト・ニー, Sutāraito Nī, Lit. "Starlight Knee") is one of Melia's physical arts in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. If used after Spear Break, the enemy will be forcibly Toppled. As Melia uses Starlight Kick, she briefly tumbles onto and stays on the ground.

Miscellaneous Info[]

  • Damage is calculated based on the weapon's attack and Melia's strength.
  • This art is flexible because the party members do not have to initiate a Chain Attack in order to inflict Break to large enemies if toppling is necessary. Melia can topple an enemy before, during, or after a Chain Attack. This will immediately allow the other party members to stun the enemy by inflicting Daze.
  • The AI will only use this move when the target is already near Melia. However, the AI will rarely, if ever, move Melia towards the target deliberately in order to use this art. Thus, the AI will only use this move if the enemy moves towards Melia (such as if Melia has the aggro and the target focuses on melee attacks).
