Sun Staves (Japanese: 太陽の杖, Taiyō no Tsue) are weapons in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. They are staves that can be wielded by Melia. Among all of her staves in the main game, they have the highest boost to Physical Defense, and are tied with the Dragon Rod Alcar and Alcor Staff for the highest boost to Ether Defense. They also boast the highest block rate and a very high critical rate.
In Future Connected, they are the staves with the almost all highest attributes, the exception being the Meteor Staves which have a higher maximum attack value.
