This quest will expire after the events at the Mechonis Core.
Talia's Research (Japanese: タリアの研究, Taria no Kenkyū) is a Timed Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Talia in Alcamoth after A Necessary Upgrade is completed. This quest and the Investigating Satorl Eryth Sea quest are mutually exclusive.
By completing either this quest or Investigating Satorl, the party will have access to the next quest, Ancient High Entia Mystery, that will unlock Melia's fifth skill branch.

- "Talk to Talia."
- She can be found standing behind a rock near the altar.

"You saved Talia's life. It looks like she and her team are looking for the true War God Statue."

- Talia will have a full new trade at Satorl Marsh only during this quest or Investigating Satorl.
