Teelan (Japanese: テト, Teto) is a half-Homs High Entia in Xenoblade Chronicles. In Future Connected, he is a major supporting character.

Story

Xenoblade Chronicles

Teelan is a young High Entia boy who aspires to be a soldier. His father is a Homs, while his mother is a pure-blood High Entia. He is involved in a few side quests. After most of the High Entia, including his mother, turn into Telethia, Teelan hides in the imperial capital until the party rescues him at Miriall's request during The Missing Boy. He then flees to the Ether Plant in Eryth Sea. Upon meeting with the party afterward, Teelan requests that they retrieve the Telethia Research within the Telethia Laboratory in the High Entia Tomb, hoping that with it, he can find a way to return all of the Telethia to their original forms.

Future Connected

Following the recreation of the world, Teelan begins researching Telethia on the Bionis' Shoulder in hopes of one day reversing their transformation. To this end, he regularly visits the ruined Alcamoth. During one visit, he goes to the Imperial Villa and gets attacked by the Fog King. Tyrea rescues him and becomes a sister-like figure to the boy. At some point, his father was killed by the Fog King.

Eventually, Teelan sneaks off again to go to Alcamoth, but gets attacked by a Fogbeast Taos. Melia, Shulk, Kino, and Nene rescue the young High Entia, who invites them to his laboratory. After catching up, the party and Teelan part ways. Teelan and Tyrea eventually get attacked by Gael'gar, who attempts to remove any possibility to restoring the pure-blooded High Entia. After being defeated, Gael'gar blows up Teelan's lab and manages to take Teelan hostage in the chaos. Before Gael'gar could harm Teelan, a Telethia appears and knocks him away, forcing him to retreat. As the Telethia flies away, Teelan questions if the Telethia could possibly be his mother. Melia then recklessly runs into the burning building and retrieves the Telethia Research before the building crumbles.

Afterward, Teelan moves to Gran Dell for his safety and to help the settlement free Alcamoth. He later attends Melia's coronation after the Fog King is defeated and Alcamoth is restored.

Teelan can be found in the area of Melfica Road in Alcamoth, southwest of the shop and just south of the main escalator, from 06:00 to 15:00. After the events of Mechonis Core, and after being rescued, Teelan can be found at the Ether Plant in Eryth Sea, in front of the teleporter from 6:00 to 18:00.
