The Only Thing I Can Do (Japanese: 私に出来る唯一のこと, Watashi ni Dekiru Yuiitsu no Koto) is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles. It can be received from Vidian after she is rescued from Whitewing Palace in Alcamoth during Vidian Rescue Mission. This quest is triggered after the Mechonis Core events if Believing Again had not been completed. Otherwise, I Will Never Forget You will be triggered, since both quests are mutually exclusive. If Reyn is in the active party, he will comment.

Objectives

• "Defeat 10 Arel Telethia in Alcamoth."
• "Defeat Telethia Arielle near the Fountain of Eternity in Alcamoth."
  • It is found southwest of the Fountain of Eternity.
• "Defeat Telethia Lesunia near Melfica Road in Alcamoth."
  • It is found south of Melfica Road (also southwest from the Imperial Palace landmark).
• "Return to Vidian."
  • The Affection Seal Half and Arielle's Ring are handed over.

Results

"It really was Vidian's friends who saved her. Vidian offers up a tearful prayers for her friends."

• Upon completion of this quest, the Affinity Chart will change if Vidian is spoken to between 6:00 and 9:00, or between 12:00 and 15:00:
