Time Attack

Time Attack is a special mode, exclusive to the Definitive Edition remake of the game for the Nintendo Switch. It is accessible after the events of Colony 9(?). There are various portals placed around the world that take you to the shrine of the Nopon Archsage. Inside, you are able to participate in various time trials, yielding a unique currency known as Noponstone. This can be traded in for a variety of unique armor items and gems of all ranks. The trials are broken up into 2 categories: Free and Restricted. Free allows all units and equipment, displaying a recommended level. Restricted has set units, levels, equipment, arts, and skills, and you must play as the set main character. The trials consist of 3 set waves of monsters, and are rated afterwards based on: Clear Time, Heals, Chain Attacks, Chain Attack Arts, Vision Tags Smashed, Buffs/Debuffs, Chance Arts, and Topples Inflicted, all rated at 1-3 stars. Time continues for the entirety of the trial, with the sole exception of pausing. The enemies spawn slightly away from the group which heals fully, but does not reset arts' cooldowns. The Free mode challenges take into account your Expert Mode settings, so make sure to modify accordingly. Failure at any point yields no rewards.

All armors are for cosmetic purposes and have the same stats, along with 1 slot. The Camo set unlocks the Resort Style II for Shulk. The Captin's Set unlocks Resort Style I for females. The Exotic set unlocks the Resort Style I for Reyn.
