Vengeful Daulton in Xenoblade Chronicles
Upas (Japanese: ウーパー, Ūpā) are a species of enemy in the Xenoblade Chronicles series. They have an appearance somewhat similar to Lizards, but with a large lure on their heads which lights up at night.
Upas undergo no appearance change between games.

Upa’s seem to have their name based on the Japanese name for an axolotl, 「ウーパールーパー」

Upas are first encountered near the Ether Mine. They are later seen outside Colony 6, in Satorl Marsh, and on the Fallen Arm, residing in wetter areas. There are several types of Upas.
