The Urban Skell
Urban is a Light Type based Skell unit in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Urban is one of the Skells developed and used by BLADE in New Los Angeles. It is Lin's favourite Skell. The Urban is specially designed for urban deployment and combat. Its vehicle form is a sort of futuristic motorcycle.
Urbans are one of the few Skell series that can be found on New Los Angeles used by BLADE soldiers. Most Human-Made Skell enemies are Urban models.
The US0220 Urban ST model is the first Skell Cross receives upon completing the mission The Skell License, and one of the two Level 20 Skell frames available to the player, the other being the initial Hraesvelg model. The level 60 upgrade of this Skell is the Urban Lincoln.
Description[]
Urban is a custom Light Frame based Skell model specially produced for urban deployment. This model has high durability and combat performance, but its reinforced armor reduces its maneuverability and operating time.
The Urban Vehicle
However, in vehicle mode its maneuverability and operating time are excellent, owing to its Light Frame design.
The level 30 Urban frame costs 240,000 Credits and the level 50 frame costs 1,920,000 Credits.
Overdrive[]
Urban is equipped with the OBORO Overdrive, which grants the following effects:
- Zero fuel usage
- All damage up
- Reduced ranged damage taken
- Appendage heal
