Yelv's Partner (Japanese: イエルヴの相棒, Ieruvu no Aibō) is an Affinity Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. It can be accepted between the two construction cranes on North Founders Street in the Commercial District of New Los Angeles. The Mimeosome Head and Torso are received upon completion of this mission.

Objectives

1. "Talk to Eleonora on the BLADE Concourse in the administrative district."
2. "Explore over 60 percent of Oblivia."
3. "Talk to Eleonora on the BLADE Concourse in the administrative district."
4. "Head to the calculated location at Oblivia's Eddie's Conquest."
5. "Defeat the gale Milsaadi at Oblivia's Eddie's Conquest."
6. "Approach the wreckage at Oblivia's Eddie's Conquest and investigate."

Results

"Yelv's childhood friend may have died, but Yelv now seems more determined that ever to see his work as a Reclaimer through to the very end."

Mission Epilogue

After the mission completion and reward screens, there is an additional cutscene in which Eleonora reports via her comm device to an unknown person. It is implied that Yelv's memories and personality were implanted, and that he will now be used as a "master copy" for the production of more BLADE operatives.
